Customer proximity,
personal responsibility, entrepreneurship and a sales-orientated approach are the characteristic features
of BEKB | BCBE's employees. The focus of our client relationships is on mutual benefit,
shaping the future and implementing solutions. "Yes, with pleasure" is a phrase that characterises
this attitude. 10 percent of the approximately 1,400
jobs are occupied by trainees (apprentices, asssistants and graduates of a training in banking). Last
year, all of BEKB | BCBE's third-year trainees successfully completed their basic training.
The results were above the average for Switzerland as a whole. Most of the young professionals have
taken on a role within the bank. We motivate our employees by providing
targeted management, personnel development measures on all levels, in particular through training, optimum
personnel deployment and an open information policy. Through extensive delegation and co-determination
we encourage them to take an enterprising approach to their work.
